About: Razoron Health Innovations is the creator of the RAZCODE® Digital Health Token™ and is creating a set of connected health services that help individuals to understand the short-term health effects of their everyday actions, and to take control of their own health.

Our first web service is HealthJibe® Connect™, an OAuth-based trusted authentication and gateway service that enables individuals to take their health information with them wherever they go on the web. Developers can incorporate HealthJibe Connect into any health, wellness, or fitness application or device in order to easily add connected and mobile health features to their solutions, and to implement our patent-pending RAZCODE technology.

Proposal for Solution:Razoron Health Innovations (Razoron) and Communications Systems, Inc. (CSI) have developed an secure, integrated, connected, and mobile health solution made up of the following components/technology:

  • HealthJibe (Razoron Health)
  • RAZCODE Gateway (Razoron Health)
  • mHealthBridge (CSI)
  • RAZCODE Digital Health Tokens (Razoron Health)
  • motionPHR Smartphone Apps (CSI)

Razoron and CSI propose to connect this integrated solution to Practice Fusion using Practice Fusion’s bidirectional API in order to provide a variety of innovative methods for health care consumers and patients to report/retrieve health data to/from their Practice Fusion medical charts.

The Razoron/CSI solution:

  • brings mobile connectivity to Practice Fusion (motionPHR/mHealthBridge/RAZCODE Gateway/HealthJibe).
  • provides a secure offline copy of the patient’s health record on a smartphone. Patients can view or change their record anywhere and anytime
  • supports the use of Open Mobile Health Exchange (OMHE) commands (Twitter like micro-syntax commands) to report health data to a Practice Fusion medical chart (HealthJibe).
  • enables communications-enabled consumer medical device (e.g. Withings Body Scale, blood pressure cuff, glucose monitors) to report measurement data to Practice Fusion medical charts (RAZCODE Gateway/HealthJibe) wirelessly and in real-time.
  • enables any HIT application that is a source of consumer/patient data to connect through the RAZCODE Gateway to report data to a Practice Fusion Medical Chart (RAZCODE Gateway/HealthJibe/mHealthBridge).
  • allows consumer/patient to transfer data from leading Personal Health Records (e.g. Microsoft HealthVault, Google Health, Dossia, Keas, etc.) to a Practice Fusion medical chart (RAZCODE Gateway/HealthJibe).

In addition, integrating the Razoron/CSI solution to Practice Fusion enables the following value-added features and benefits that will help Practice Fusion drive medical provider value, adoption, and satisfaction:

  • ability to provide patients access to personal health information (PHI) at the point of care via RAZCODE 2D bar codes (available now)
    • allows consumers to upload health information originating within Practice Fusion to their choice of online health management services using just the camera on a smartphone
    • PHI associated with discreet health encounters can be provided to the patient via RAZCODE tokens.
    • medical providers reduce costs by automating process of providing patients with access to PHI, while meeting Meaningful Use criteria
  • mobile payment option for co-payments and other service fees integrated to RAZCODE tokens (available Sept. 2010)
  • ability for medical provider to use RAZCODE tokens and their smartphone as an authentication mechanism to allow electronic prescriptions of controlled substances (available now).
